Treasure Hunts 2011 # 2 - '57 Chevy

Well, let me start this new year with the recent released Treasure Hunt for 2011.

It's the '57 Chevy. Got it a few weeks ago..

First debuted in 1977.. Damn... that was really long ago in which everything was produced in Hong Kong.
Back then, I think it was a full die-cast metal, where as this TH has a plastic base..

Its kinda lite, full of tampos, and the TH$ comes with white wheels with Goodyear markings on the tyres.

Anyway, enjoy the pics..

Accidently scratched the rear body of the TH$.. demm..

Superbly nice with tampos and wheels..

Then it became 3 pieces.

The middle has a chrome wheels.

Not to sure whether this is a proto or what?

Got them as 'pasar malam'..

When I first started to collect Hot Wheels and Matchbox, I always abused them to the max..
Taking out the wheels, windscreen and mainly by force.. Some I did even cut using players and make it convertible.. This is when I have yet to know, there are better ways to custom a die-cast..

This time, it's the RLC '50s Chevy Truck.. which is limited to 11000 pieces worldwide..

Got this a few weeks back, a trade from shakz..
Awesome truck, pity it has to stay in carded all this while..
Fit with white walls tyres to the Spectraflame light brown body, this is one sweet truck..
