US Parcel again...

After being sick for almost 2 weeks, suddenly my happy pills has arrived.
Just some stuff bought from a friend in the States.
Also includes some RLC stuff which I had it shipped to him.

Had to go to Pos Malaysia in KLIA to collect my stuff.
It's been awhile since I have to collect the parcel myself, and the Customs decided to slap me with a tax, but still justifiable..

1st Box.
Not all for me, that would be crazy..
Its a combination of several friends order..

2nd Box.
Yes, this are all mine..
Now I know why my bank account kept depleting.

Canadian Exclusive 8 packs. if I am not mistaken.
Comes with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 Jungle Rally with PR5 wheels.
I think this was released a few years back.
Surprisingly the packaging are still mint.

20 pack Exclusives.
Bought the whole box just to get those 4 variations I collect.
These are no longer available in Malaysia, due to the price.

'71 Datsun Bluebird 510 Wagon
This is from RLC.
Rewards membership redemption
Not into collecting these due to the hype,  since its free, why not..

Datsun Bluebird 510
2018 RLC Membership car.
Wonder why does Mattel keep doin this casting..
Its boring, and there many other casting worthy rather than this.
Probably the hype of the casting sells the membership.

RLC Neo Classic Custom Convoy
Bought these due to the price and availability..
Total I think I had about 10 of these..

Mustang Boss Hoss
These are just some stuff available for redemption.
Goes to the trade bin..

Mustang Boss Hoss
RLC Club Exclusive.
Another reward redemption car.
Another one goes to the trade bin.

'69 Camaro
RLC Club Membership car.
Another reward membership redemption.
Goes to the trade bin as well..

Since I purchased 3 boxes of the 2017 Car Culture Premium boxset, I decided to open 1 box.
Just to see the conditions and assortments received.
Saw some of my friends having incomplete set, broken blister, I had my doubts for my boxes as well..

I was so happy that I had a complete assortment on my first box opening.
Decided not to open the other 2.
Keep it sealed till the time comes.

2017 Car Culture RLC Exclusive.
Its been awhile Mattel has the VW Fastback, and the livery is awesome.

I need to get a bigger store room.
These boxes are totally taking up a lot of space.
Till the next updates, keep collecting and have fun at it.
Enjoy the pics.

Cheers.

2018 Car Culture Euro Speed

Received new shipment by Mattel Agent recently.
Another new released for the 2018 Car Culture Series, Euro Speed.
First updated was during the LA convention last year, where as some sneak peeks pictures we given.
1 new casting will be in the 5 pieces set. The other 4 seems to be a familiar faces in the Car Culture Series.

Anyway, check out the picture below..

SKU for Euro Speed.

The unboxing video.
It's been awhile since I did this..
Apologise for the crappy sound..

Completed set of 5.
The graphics on card is so simple.
Nothing fancy at all.

#1/5 - Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA

Nothing fancy.

#2/5 - BMW M1 Procar

Nicely done.

#3/5 - Mercedes Benz 190e 2.5-16

Too simple.
2nd color of its series in black for Car Culture.

#4/5 - Porsche 993 GT2

Too simple for my taste.

Audi R8 LMS

New casting. Nice design.

Out of the 5 cars, I only collect the Porsche 993 and Mers 190e.
Both which are not outstanding at all in terms of tampo design.
But for the sake of having the variation.
Overall, the card looks simple, choices of casting limited, and tampo design are just ok.

Hopefully Mattel is coming up with cool design and more choices on the casting.
Enjoy the pics.

Cheers.

Business turns into hunting trip.. in Jakarta

I was away again for a business trip to Jakarta last weekend.
It was a short trip and the meeting ended up early, and I decided to run around Jakarta mall..
Just wanted to check out whats good, available and offers they have around here.
And to my surprised, they do have much more stuff which Malaysian market have to offer.
Probably due to the buying power which our Asian counterpart has, and in which Malaysian probably just deep into a single brand..
Anyway, check out the pictures below..
Probably some guidelines and tips on what to expect during visit to the country..

First visit, a hypermarket in Jakarta Central..

Old waves of Matchboxes are still available, but none of the interest.

Various Hot Wheels product on the pegs.
Nice 3packs they have there, but not with the S2000 variant wheels.

Some 8packs available.
Malaysia used to have these, but all gone now..

These would be a hit in Malaysia..

Catalogue books. Book 1 and 2.
Wonder why aren't these available here..

These are quite nice.
Not original Hot Wheels but its connectable and stackable. and cheap.

Hotboxes on display.

Another pit stop in Jakarta Central.
One of the largest Toy Chain Shop in Jakarta.

More HotBoxes with various cars selection.

Very cool Transporter for Hot Wheels.

Another pit stop. and another largest group of Toy Chain Store in Jakarta.

Still some cool stuff available.

More Hot Wheels 5packs and the Hot Wheels and connective box available.

I just love the track setup here..
Wish I can do this back home..

More Hot Wheels peg warmers available.

Various Matchboxes available.

And I decided to do this.. :)

Some cool Maisto products available.

More Maisto Tow & Go Series.

One of the coolest diecast shop in Jakarta.
The various products for sale in immensely crazy..
Shucks that they would not let me photographed what is available and I respect them for it.
Do drop by here if you are into 1:43, 1:18 and 1:8 scale products, but do leave you money and cards at home.. to avoid accidental purchased..
hehehe.

2nd Day running around Jakarta, this time goin south.

More Tomica Cool Drive available.
Bet the FK2R won't last a day back in Malaysia..

More Matchboxes available..

Still some cool Matchboxes available.

More Greenlights on sale.

These 1:18 are on sale, tempted to buy, but baggage does not allow me to..

Multiple HotBoxes available with some cool assortments.

Some Jada assortments.

Close-up on the JDM Tuners. pretty decent thou.

Maisto bigger scale selections.

Really need this at home.
What a cool garage to have, but freaking pricey, and it is huge..

They even have the Lego sets on display which is very impressive.

Simple but soooo cool.

More close-up from the side.

This is pretty decent setup for a shop.

How cool to have this track setup for kids to play.
AMAZING.

Some RMZ selections.

More Hot Wheels peg warmers..

These are what I bought during the running around Jakarta.

More stuff purchased.

Couldn't leave these discounted item left on pegs.

More stuff purchased.
How did I manage to fit all these in a single luggage bag?

FYI, I didn't buy all of those for myself, some are for friends back home.
Overall, the running around was kinda tiring with the traffics and all, but it was fruitful.
Might make another trip to Jakarta, but not so soon..
Hopefully the next trip has much to offer.

Cheers.
