Again.. Mail In Fastback..

Another entry on the 65 VW Fastback..
Got this roak from Sinclair a couple of weeks back..
One of the hardest to get, and expensive too... and I'm liking it very much..

Yes, finally managed to loose it during the HWCM Friday gathering after a few weeks kept in storage..

65' VW Fastback..

This is another casting which I liked.. 

** Info from Hot Wheels Wikia, "The '65 Volkswagen Fastback is a Hot Wheels casting based on the production car of the same name, debuting in the 2008 New Models. The real name from the original car is Volkswagen Type 3 and was produced from 1963 til 1973." Design by Phil Riehlman

First saw the casting early this year at Amcorp mall.. Immediately fall in love with it. But what I bought was a loose piece with a dissoriented front wheel. During that time, I was already doing some wheel swapping.

On first attempt, put some chrome 5spoke muscle wheels..

 

Later, another forum customizer, Elgee, decided to do some detailing of the interior.. Superb results. I never knew it would turn out perfectly.. 

Interior : Seats, fire extinguisher, NOS detailed.

Love the engine detailing.

Decided to change to black 5 spoke wheels.

Latest acquisition, was the Phil's Garage VW Fastback. This is the 3rd color among the series following the Black, then Orange and now Blue.

Got this a few months back, only ripped from blister a few days ago..

Missing is the Fastback Mail-in. Still in carded due to its a rare item and very expensive.

Even the Mail-in Fastback was a gift from Sinclair, still haven't got the guts to ripped it yet.. :)

So far, this is the completed Fastback casting series. Hopefully the VW Fastback from the Japan Convention would be released soon..

Last week, I received a parcel from a friend..

I did not expected to received this so early but I am really glad..

It was the Volkswagen Fastback from the Hot Wheels Brazil Convention.

It was really hard to get these especially conventions cars, a bit pricey but enjoying every single bit..

3 pieces came and kept 1 for myself.
