2018 Hot Wheels Honda Series

Honda was founded way back in the 1940's, which they started with motorbikes..
In the late 1960's only they started to go into cars, and till now, they keep coming out with cool design with enhanced engineering, on the road and racing tracks.

Mattel decided to come up with a Special Series for Honda casting for 2018.
Below are the selection of casting which included in the Series.
Not sure whether they gonna continue with some of the Honda casting left out.

As for Malaysian market, it was sold at selected toy shops, and TRU, but from what I heard, for US market it would a released as Walmart/Kmart Exclusive. I might be wrong.
If they do, would it come with a card variation? Hopefully not..

It comes in a box of 36.

If you are lucky to open a sealed case, it comes with 4 sets of 8 and 4 extra cars, in this case was he Honda EF, 2006 Honda Civic Si, Honda Odyssey and Honda Racer.

Had some info from other friends, whom open their cases and not having 4 sets, some got 3 sets, some got 2 sets with multiple other casting

The color make it look like a Proton Exora, local car manufacturer.

Still wondering thou why does the Honda Civic EP3 and Honda Integra didn't make the cut for the series.. or probably Mattel has a 2nd released for the Series.

However, the price for these series in the after market has rises tremendously, so get yours while its cheap..

2018 Hot Wheels Assortment E & F

Received these cases a few weeks back, only realised I have yet to post them up.

Well here goes..

2018 Hot Wheels 72pcs Assortment International Case E and F.

I missed out the previous B,C and D cases. So I am unsure whether some of the cars was released recently.

The 72pcs assortment.

Not much JDM included in the case, but some new casting and recolored casting making appearances. 

New Color for the 180sx.

New color as well for the T2 pickup

New Casting - Mercedes '16 AMG GT3

Can't wait for the next releases in the Euro Speed Project Cars series.

Probably I add this to the collection.

'71 Porsche 911.

Not sure whether this is a new casting.

But the design is simple, clean slick.

This casting is such a badass..

Looking forward for some new color and design.

Buns of Steel.

I wonder why did Mattel comes out with this.

But on the other hand, this can be used in multiple custom design.

Haven't seen this casting for a while, and it comes with Valentine's tampo.

'16 Cadillac ATS-V R

I know this is new but not digging the look.

Probably a better tampo design would make this thing pop..

This has better casting choices compared to Case E.

Not many Hot Wheels original which is great.

The casting  not so popular, but a must have for MoonEyes Collector.

Porsche 917 LH

New casting, nice design, a must have for GULF Collectors.

I don't think this is a new casting, coz I remember there is a similar design or name from previous years.

Anyway, this has a Treasure Hunt$, unluckily I didn't get them in the case.

Another recolor for the Kenmeri.

Another recolor foe the Custom 240z.

I like this color thou.

First FK2R with tampo.

Digging the tampo.. Wonder how many recolor Mattel would do for this.

New tampo design for the fiesta.

Guess what?

Its a new series introduce by Mattel.

Checkmate Series.

Similar to Chess.. Wonder what casting will be included in the series.

2018 Car Culture Japan Historics 2

After market prices are goin bonkers for the casting, just don't find it interesting to collect anymore.

First of its kind. This casting is awesome..

Nissan Skyline C210.

First of its kind, now joining the series of Skylines.

Hoping that Mattel would come out with an exclusive series comprises of the Skyline's family..

Card comparison between JH1 and JH2.

Not complaining why the JH2 comes with a bigger card thou, the graphics on the looks good.

 Additional spaces required to keep these.

Bigger cards, more spaces but then I am not keeping them carded thou..

But this does not cover the main character of the Star Wars franchise, instead, they only chooses the Bounty Hunters..
I didn't realise there are so many Bounty Hunters, well at least I knew Jango Fett and Boba Fett..

Seriously I do not know these Bounty Hunters.. Probably due to I did not follow the story as much..

I wonder how does Mattel decided to choose which character to fit what casting.

Overall is a nice piece if you are a carded collector, but unlike me, I loose everything..

The only 3 casting which I collect from the series.

The decals/graphics on the casting really sucks.

'60s Ford Econoline Pickup Truck.

The truck looks good..

It has a skateboard on the flatbed.

I like it when the do these detail touch, Ford name emboss to the rear truck.

But the paint totally ruins it all.. 

Looks thick..

'64 GMC Panel

Been collecting this casting way back when it was first introduce in the Delivery Series.

Clean and simply elegant.

Chevy Silverado Off Road.

Always a fan of 4x4.. and those RealRiders makes such a difference.

Lucky enough they are kinda expensive, stops me from getting them just for the RealRiders.
